Bring It to God
May 14, 2025
As a church committed to praying for one another, we post this daily reminder we can all use for that purpose. It contains a link to the “Our Daily Bread” devotional and a prayer inspired by the passage on which today’s devotion is based. We hope you will find both helpful. We also encourage you to read the “Bible in a Year” passages so that within a year you will have read the entire Bible.
Today’s Our Daily Bread is Bring It to God
Considering 2 Kings 19:14-20, we worship You, Heavenly Father, the Creator of heaven and earth, the One God Who alone is over all the kingdoms of this world. We thank that through Your Beloved Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, by virtue of His death and resurrection, and the intercessory ministry of the Holy Spirit, we have access to You with the assurance that You hear our prayers. Whenever we are in any way assailed, resisted, or ridiculed by our enemies, please remind us to lay out the unvarnished details before You, as did Hezekiah, with prayer for Your deliverance in Your way, Your time, and to the praise of Your glory and His in Whose Name we pray. Amen.
Bible in a year: 2 Kings 19-21; John 4:1-30
